Try the Trades - The Skilled Trades Mentoring Program offers the opportunity for adults between 18-39 to get involved in a rapidly growing and exciting industry. Participants will spend 2-4 weeks on residential construction sites learning the ins and outs of the construction trades. All safety equipment and training is provided, and participants are awarded $1000 for every 2 weeks spent on-site. There are even $2000 educational subsidies available for those who wish to pursue formal training in the trades.
