Try the Trades - The Skilled Trades Mentoring Program offers the opportunity for adults between 18-39 to get involved in a rapidly growing and exciting industry. All safety equipment and training is provided, and participants are awarded for every 2 weeks spent on-site. There are even educational subsidies available for those who wish to pursue formal training.This is an initiative of the Canadian Home Builders' Association - Eastern Newfoundland, funded by the Department of Advanced Education and Skills.
